FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 1, 2017) – Fort Lauderdale-based investment banking firm, Farlie Turner & Co., is pleased to announce the sale of Jet Aviation Specialists (“JAS”). In a transaction that closed on February 24, 2017, JAS was sold to StandardAero, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital. Farlie Turner served as the exclusive financial advisor to JAS for the transaction.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Miami, Florida, Jet Aviation Specialists provides high-quality maintenance, repair and overhaul services on turbine engine components for the commercial aviation, industrial gas and military industry sectors. JAS services an array of turbine engine components, including combustors, honeycomb segments, honeycomb rings, impingement rings, stage 2 shroud supports, low-pressure turbine cases and spinner cones. JAS supports a diverse base of blue-chip customers including major airlines, original engine manufacturers, the U.S. military, domestic and international repair stations and parts distributors throughout the world.
