FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. November 20, 2017 – Fort Lauderdale-based investment banking firm Farlie Turner & Co. is pleased to announce that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to the minority shareholder involved in the sale of Italian Rose Garlic Products (“Italian Rose”). In a deal that closed on November 9th, 2017, Italian Rose was sold to Blue Point Capital.
In business for over 30 years and headquartered in Riviera Beach, Florida, Italian Rose is a manufacturer of name brand and private label fresh salsas, dips, sauces and spreads. Italian Rose uses only fresh produce that is never heated, prepackaged or overly handled. The Company serves a blue-chip customer base, including well-known retailers such as Sam’s Club, Walmart and Publix.
“We are pleased to have worked with the minority shareholder on this extremely complex transaction. I’m proud of the effort our team undertook to get this transaction to the finish line, which appeared distant and somewhat improbable when we were first contacted,” stated Managing Director Craig Farlie. In addition to Mr. Farlie, the transaction team at Farlie Turner consisted of Managing Director Erik Rudolph, Vice President Kyle Jones and Associate Chris Henry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
