Fort Lauderdale, FL - Ft. Lauderdale-based investment banking firm Farlie Turner & Co. has announced the formation of the Special Situations Group to provide merger and acquisition, capital raising and financial advisory services to middle market companies experiencing financial difficulties, ranging from underperforming to significantly distressed. The Special Situations Group will be complementary to the firm’s existing investment banking practice, which focuses on serving growth-oriented middle market companies. He remains the Managing Partner of Innovo Capital and a director of its portfolio company. Prior to Innovo Capital, Zuckerman was an attorney with the nationally recognized law firm of Berger Singerman, where he specialized in representing financially distressed businesses, bankruptcy trustees and investors in connection with the purchase and sale of distressed companies and assets. Before joining Berger Singerman, Zuckerman was Vice President of Business Development and General Counsel for a high-growth technology company.
Farlie Turner’s Special Situations Group will provide a full range of investment banking services to companies that are experiencing challenging corporate and capital market situations. Services provided by the Special Situations Group include the following:

“Our firm’s focus has always been on the middle market,” said firm partner Michael Turner. “We view the Special Situations Group as a way to expand upon the services we already provide to that sector and as a platform to deliver high quality investment banking services to what we believe is an underserved area of the market.”
