Farlie, Turner & Co., LLC, an investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and financial advisory services, has relocated its Fort Lauderdale office to the Las Olas City Centre located at 401 Las Olas Boulevard, Suite 1720, according to principals Craig Farlie and Michael Turner.
Craig Farlie said that the company “is dedicated to providing the highest quality advisory and financing services to the middle market, which we feel is an under-served sector, particularly in Florida,” and Michael Turner added that “the move into new, larger space will provide us with the opportunity to add personnel to support a growing pipeline of new business."
Prior to the formation of the company, Farlie was co-founder and president of PrintSource USA, a leading privately-held consolidator of commercial printing companies. Additionally, Farlie previously was employed as vice president, corporate development, at Republic Industries, Inc. and held various corporate development positions at Blockbuster Entertainment and Huizenga Holdings, Inc.
Before co-founding the company, Turner was a principal with Brockway Moran & Partners, a private equity firm, and prior to that was vice president of Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co., the mergers and acquisitions division of First Union Securities.
Farlie Turner’s Board of Advisors includes James Blosser and D. Keith Cobb. Mr. Blosser is a partner in the law firm of Blosser & Sayfie, and previously managed the Fort Lauderdale office of Poole, McKinley & Blosser, a governmental affairs consulting firm. Prior to Poole, McKinley & Blosser, he held the positions of executive vice president and general counsel of Huizenga Holdings, Inc.; president of Blockbuster Entertainment Park Division; and partner in the law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A.
Mr. Cobb currently is a consultant and strategic advisor to corporations, and previously was a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Miami Branch, and also served as vice chairman and chief executive officer of Alamo Rent-A-Car, Inc.
